#19 I want to be friends with James Franco

This is part 2 in my recurring theme. Unlike my well articulated post regarding the merits of a friendship to Gwyneth Paltrow, my desire to be friends with James Franco has less to go on. I think he has a good sense of humor, is down to earth and dresses well. He is friends with a host of personality types, from Will Farrell to well, Gwyneth Paltrow. I could totally hang with them.

A Tour de Force of Tour de Forces

Right. So, according to my financial planner, I am in my peak earning years (sad, I know). It appears I am also at the peak of my "Gen-X-ness". That means that having lived through decades of extreme social, cultural and technological change I am now blessed with a wealth of great friends, creativity and loads of ideas. Bitterness too, but mostly the good stuff and the awesome ideas. Ideas that come to me so rapidly I just cant possibly do all of them. Which is why I created this blog. That and because in being a Gen Xer, I also have little to no follow through. I mean to, but things just get in the way and sometimes I just lose interest. So anyway, rather than just lose all my great ideas, I decided to capture my daily whims, immortalizing forever my creative nuggets in the event I'm able to enact any of them or inspire someone else to.

In short, you can expect to read here many things I'd like to do but, even though the ideas are great and I really mean to, I likely wont because I'm either too lazy or too busy (or both) to do them. I mean I want to and all, but you know how it goes.

*A special thanks to all you Gen Y-ers out there who in actually having admirable passion and follow through, invented things like blogging for those of us who don't, giving us a place to air our many grievances, being that we are the most bitter of generations. Creative yes, but definitely bitter.
